I built the first customizable sound therapy musical instrument for tinnitus—designed by a tinnitus sufferer musician for the 700+ million affected worldwide.

What:
Tinnitus Therapy Synthesizer (TTS) is a customizable, highly personalized musical system that merges algorithmic music-making with neuroplasticity principles to help manage tinnitus. It is currently being used as a research tool in clinical trials at audiology laboratories in Hacettepe University School of Medical Sciences and Ankara University Medical School.

Why It Matters: Tinnitus impacts 700+ million people worldwide - more people than diabetes or asthma, yet its treatment options are decades behind. This condition often leads to distress and reduced quality of life. TTS offers a personalized approach to sound therapy, empowering users to actively engage in their treatment, which can lead to better outcomes.
